I am so glad that this website has been set up. I am doing my first Reiki I workshop on thursday. There were originally 3 students and now there are 2.
I trained with Valentine in 2002 and have been busy raising 2 boys in the interim. I completed Health coaching through IIN in New York and want to integrate Reiki into my practice. So far its doing really well.
I have so many questions. I have wrtten to you previously and want to know the best place to talk.
It is good to see such a beautiful web site for Reiki Jin Ki Do and Buddho. Over 10 years ago I spent three years in Nepal, India and Tibet as a Tibtan buddhist nun for 8 years, after which Garchen Rinpoche released me of my monastic vows to assume holding fully my yogic vows. Many years of retreats and practice and authorization to have my own temple and teach the practices and foundational teaching. Life changing. I met and studied with many great masters, and their relics left behind, and the great practioner they were.
As you know Reiki is and was life changing for me. I was drawn to Tibetan Buddhism because of the mantras.
I have been busy with family and grandchildren for 7years but now wll begin to practice again the Reiki. I live in Carlsbad CA near San Diego for 1 year now.
I had a flood and all my books and Reiki / Buddho materials were damaged saturated and stuck together. My certificates everything.
I will read more in your site.
I wish you the best Always,
I am researching lineages for the Reiki Association in the UK and trying to get confirmation whether Eileen Chapman initiatiated someone called Lee Chamberlain? Any ideas please or how to contact Eileen
Hello Ann. Eileen Chapman is a very good friend and Master colleague of mine. I can't answer your particular question, but you can e-mail Eileen on<email@example.com> She is supporting a very sick husband at present, so you may find that she won't reply immediately. If you don't hear back fro Eileen, let me know and I will see if I can find out as I have her phone number in Melbourne.
Great blog, thanks for posting this
I invite any comments or questions regarding the practice of Reiki Jin Kei Do and its deeper philosophy.
