Reiki Jin Kei Do Masters

A beautiful and serene place to meditate. The Stupa at Aloka (Light) Monastery located in Peat's Ridge, Central Coast, Australia.

Logo Meaning:
I drew the image in the logo to depict our potential to develop our mind through meditation. The energy centres lighting up represents the connection we establish with the universal field of energy and pure state of consciousness through Reiki and meditation.
The light emanating from the heart with the paths of the infinity symbol crossing at the heart chakra indicates the opening of the heart with unbounded and infinite compassion. The person is sitting on the lotus, the symbol of enlightenment encircled by three nurturing hands.
This symbolizes our inter-connectedness and inter-dependence while nurturing oneself through meditation and Reiki healing we must be benevolent in nature and help others and well as be gracious to accept healing from others.

Salma's Reiki Jin Kei Do Experience

What a blessed experience I had when DR Ranga Premaratna led the meditation and shared in depth with our group of friends in Knoxville Tennessee about the origins and the meaning of the symbols. I felt I was enveloped in a shimmering bright light and a vivid array of colors.
I could see the golden symbols pulsating growing larger and I merged and mingled with them. then I felt a sacred shrine developed around the center of my heart and I saw many bright orbs floating around. I also sensed more calmness, openness. The meditation and the breathing increased my alignment with the Divine power. I had more dreams with angels and the Divine mother. Many years ago I had traumatic car accident that affected my spine, lower back, neck and head. the practice of REIKI-JIN-KEI DO gave me profound help and led me to greater awareness, transformation, unconditional love, to be of service and to be truly helpful. It also strengthened my faith, trust and love for my self and all life.
The training and the practice increased the spark of light in my inner eye. I also noticed more electrical tingling in my hands and the tingling increased and I felt it in all the cells of my being. the symbols stayed silently in the core of my inner eye and heart. they became like a compass that increased my intuition, appreciation , wisdom, and compassion. I also had healing crisis and some of them were intense but later, my distress , longing and pain decreased and gradually were washed away by the stream and the water fall of this amazing graceful energy. so thank you Dr Ranga for giving us this harmonious gift that gave us the opportunity to choose the path of enlightenment. I also would like to thank Beth Sanders my Reiki Master Teacher for bringing Dr Ranga the year of 1992 to Knoxville. (Beth Sanders referred me to Salma and 6 other masters who Beth had trained after Beth received training with me in Reiki Jin Kei Do.--Ranga) We are truly blessed! From the depth of my heart I say thank you!!!

My Reiki Healing Experiences
Reiki has become such an integral part of my life (this is the Do part of Jin Kei Do). What this means is Reiki is becoming increasingly a state of "being" rather than "doing".
This transformation happens through the daily consistent practice of Reiki in the form of self-treatments and/or the seven purifying and strengthening breaths (SPSB) exercises. As I kept practising the seven breaths more than the self-treatments as I find the 7PSBs more enjoyable to do especially when you have limited time, I began to experience the flow of Reiki even after the exercises. This is something that happened many years ago and continued to develop over the years. As I also progressed in my meditation practice, particularly, Metta meditation or Loving Kindness, the intensity of the energy flow became higher and more widespread throughout the body. With the flow of energy, the mind flows. When you are aware of the flow of energy, your mind is what is being aware of this flow, therefore, the mind flows as a rider rides a horse.
As I practised the seven breaths (7PBs) regularly, the moment to moment mindfulness could be developed following the movement of the hands, the sensation of energy, and the energy interaction between the energy projection from the palms and the body's field as the hands passed different areas of the body. As he mind got closely engaged with the experience, the energy flow started resembling the meditative joy "piti" experience I have during regular meditation.
This is an example of how close meditation and Reiki relationship is. During theses exercises, due to the development of strong mindfulness and concentration, I began to clearly feel areas of deep physical imbalances not yet manifested as a overt symptom as well as more superficial organ disturbances projecting out to the field. It was easy to disperse the superficial imbalances through creating a harmonious flow by the movements of the exercises. The deeper imbalances needed hand placement on the areas and following the deepening process of the Intention-> Attention-> Heightened Awareness-> Resonance technique...more soon.
